Discover the Feldenkrais Method®
a gentle, neuroscience-informed approach that uses mindful movement to enhance how you move, feel, and function. By retraining the nervous system, it helps release chronic tension and restore fluidity, balance, and comfort in your body.

Through guided attention and exploration, Feldenkrais builds greater body awareness, which can be profoundly helpful for individuals healing from trauma, anxiety, chronic pain, and developmental challenges.

Whether you're recovering from injury, addressing the effects of early trauma, or seeking to move with more ease, Feldenkrais offers a respectful path toward healing and embodiment.

Awareness Through Movement® Classes
In every Feldenkrais class, I aim to help participants achieve their wellness and fitness goals by keeping each session fun, playful, and engaging. We explore new possibilities together, fostering a sense of community and shared discovery.

Key Features of the Classes:
Inclusive Design: Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Safety First: Minimal risk of injury; movements are performed within comfortable, pain-free ranges.
Effortless Movement: Emphasis on using the least amount of effort necessary.
Enhanced Mobility: Participants often find greater mobility, safety, and comfort than they previously thought possible.

My classes are uniquely influenced by my background in Somatic Psychology, Improvisational Theater, Dance, Martial Arts, and my experience as a music teacher and performance artist.

Why Does Feldenkrais Facilitate Rapid Transformation?
The Feldenkrais Method leverages the brain's ability to change itself—a concept known as neuroplasticity. By creating optimal conditions in each class, we aim to improve how your brain and nervous system think, feel, problem-solve, and create functional movement.

Understanding NeuroplasticityNeuroplasticity refers to the brain's capacity to rewire itself and adapt to new inputs. In adverse conditions—such as injury, habitual compensation, trauma, anxiety, or distress—neuroplasticity can lead to dysfunctional patterns.
Feldenkrais classes address these issues by:
Reprogramming Motor Patterns: Teaching participants to create a positive learning environment that fosters rapid change.
Enhancing Sensory Perception: Utilizing gentle movements to alter and upgrade the brain's sensory-perceptual processes.
Progressive Movement Sequences: Guiding participants through gentle movements that gradually evolve into more complex patterns.
As participants become more aware of how their bodies interact internally and with the external environment (e.g., gravity, the ground, and others), their sensory-motor processes refine movement. This leads to increased ease, power, range of motion, energy efficiency, and better body alignment, reducing chronic pain caused by inefficient movement patterns.
Classes can be conducted in various positions, including lying down, sitting, standing, and walking.
