How often do people work with you?
Many people begin with weekly sessions, especially at the start. Others come bi-weekly or as needed.
We’ll discuss what feels appropriate for you during the initial consultation.
Are you a licensed therapist?
No. I am not a licensed psychotherapist or physician and do not provide psychotherapy or medical treatment.
I have over 25 years of experience in somatic and body-based work, with training in Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and the Feldenkrais Method®.
My work focuses on supporting nervous system regulation and helping clients feel more connected and at ease in their bodies.
How is this different from talk therapy?
Talk therapy often focuses on thoughts, insight, and behavior.
This work focuses on the nervous system and the body—supporting changes through awareness, sensation, and gradual shifts in how your system organizes itself.
Many people come to this work after finding that insight alone hasn’t fully resolved what they’re experiencing.
I feel disconnected from my body. Can this help?
Yes. Many people feel stuck in their heads or disconnected from their bodies.
This work offers a gentle way to reconnect—helping reduce tension, increase awareness, and support a greater sense of ease and regulation.
How long does it take to see results?
This varies from person to person.
Some people notice shifts early on, while deeper changes tend to develop over time with consistent sessions.
We can talk about what to expect based on your goals during the consultation.
Do I need to talk about past trauma?
No. This work does not require you to revisit specific past experiences.
We focus on what is happening in your system in the present moment, working at a pace that feels manageable.
